Location: Hospital Santa Casa – RUI BARBOSA
### **✅** **Requirements**
MINIMUM REQUIRED \* (Mandatory): Bachelor's degree – Economics, Accounting, Logistics, Administration, or Production Engineering.
Negotiation knowledge (economies of scale, contract negotiation, price lists).
Macroeconomic and microeconomic market knowledge (assess potential price increases or reductions due to market impacts).
Relevant work experience.
### **Main Responsibilities**
* Coordinate administrative and operational activities of buyers and assistants;
* Manage interdepartmental and ISCMC unit process interactions;
* Oversee ISCMC Purchasing Department activities;
* Coordinate and maintain up-to-date supplier contracts;
* Develop relationships with suppliers of raw materials, goods, and service providers; audit procurement processes conducted by buyers;
* Prepare and present Purchasing Department performance indicators;
* Prepare and present periodic activity reports;
* Organize and maintain supplier and service provider qualifications and evaluations;
* Keep shift schedules and vacation records updated;
* Verify and coordinate timekeeping registration within the timeframe defined by the Institution;
* Coordinate and maintain subordinate staff’s banked hours at controllable and reasonably compensable levels within the prescribed period;
* Coordinate Purchasing Department activities aligned with risks identified in the Risk Matrix;
* Keep immediate superiors informed of relevant daily operational developments;
* Maintain organization and discipline within the Purchasing Department;
* Negotiate with suppliers and service providers to procure goods and services under optimal conditions of price, quality, and delivery schedule, meeting internal customers’ needs;
* Conduct price research; prepare procurement processes for higher-level approval;
* Audit all procurement processes for senior-level authorization;
* Monitor Purchase Order processing with suppliers to ensure compliance with purchase terms;
* Coordinate procurement follow-up;
* Substitute for immediate supervisor whenever necessary;
* Conduct team huddle meetings, documenting outcomes in meeting minutes.
