We are the pathway to a better career and future. \# \#SomosLear LEAR is hiring a **Commodity Purchasing Analyst** to lead strategic negotiations and support operations. **Responsibilities:** * Lead commodity negotiations with a focus on cost reduction and savings generation * Conduct price adjustments and market analyses (benchmarking, trends, and indicators) * Manage contracts and commercial agreements, ensuring governance and compliance * Address operational demands and plant routine requirements * Collaborate with logistics and quality teams to ensure service levels for internal customers * Evaluate total cost of ownership (TCO), including freight, taxes, importation, and nationalization * Develop relationships with suppliers and internal and global stakeholders * Work with metallic commodities (e.g., stamped parts) to ensure competitiveness and quality **Requirements:** * Prior experience in procurement/commodities, preferably in the automotive industry * Knowledge of strategic negotiations and cost analysis (TCO) * Experience with metallic commodities (a significant advantage) * Familiarity with contract and commercial agreement governance * Analytical mindset, strong communication skills, and negotiation ability * Bachelor’s degree or higher * Advanced English (mandatory) * Willingness to travel (~5%) If you seek to work in a global environment with strong cross-functional interaction and a focus on strategic results, this opportunity is for you!
