Inform your manager about your participation in the Selection Process. Job Description Conduct laboratory activities and statistical analysis of data generated by the Laboratory. Support coordination and supervision of the Laboratory’s quality management system in accordance with ISO/IEC 17025, statistical evaluation of quality controls (QA/QC), method validation, and measurement uncertainty calculations. Prepare quality reports. Participate in method development and continuous improvement. Responsibilities and Duties Manage documents relevant to ISO/IEC 17025, ensuring chronological archiving in electronic folders; Perform daily checks of laboratory analytical controls—including blanks, reference materials, and duplicates—and report deviations found to laboratory management; record and address deviations; Conduct quality inspections (PATEC) of chemical reagents prior to their release for laboratory use; Ensure adequate quantity and quality of reference materials available for analytical controls; Perform chemical analyses according to specific procedures, if required; Schedule internal and external audits in compliance with ISO/IEC 17025; Develop corrective action plans for deviations identified during audits and conduct root cause analysis; Monitor interlaboratory testing on a monthly basis—dispatching samples to participating laboratories and performing statistical analysis; present resulting data to the laboratory and clients. Requirements and Qualifications **EDUCATION:** Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering. **LANGUAGES:** English—Intermediate level preferred. **COMPUTER SKILLS:** Intermediate-level Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel (minimum requirement); SAP system knowledge desirable. **ADDITIONAL ASSETS:** Power BI and artificial intelligence. **KNOWLEDGE:** Physicochemical analyses—primarily in ore and water matrices; applied statistics for laboratories, method validation, and measurement uncertainty calculation; quality tools (e.g., 5 Whys, Ishikawa diagram, DMAIC, PDCA, etc.); experience with ISO/IEC 17025, including training in standard interpretation and/or internal auditing; 3–4 years of relevant professional experience. **DRIVER’S LICENSE:** Class B **HSSD Responsibilities:** **Align with our core values:** Safety, Respect, Integrity, and Excellence.
