Job Summary: Toco truck driver for stock transfers and home deliveries, with emphasis on safety, vehicle maintenance, and assistance with material loading/unloading. Key Highlights: 1. Care for vehicle maintenance and safety **COMPANY**: Burbello Construction Materials **REQUIREMENT**: Driver holding Category C license for toco trucks. **DEPARTMENT**: Operations. **POSITION**: Driver **BASIC COMPETENCIES** EDUCATION: Completed high school. Valid Category C driver's license; Experience as a truck driver; **BRIEF DESCRIPTION:** Reports to the Executive Management team; operates cargo vehicles to transfer product stock for store replenishment or for home delivery of customer purchases. Knowledge of routes (streets and avenues in the city of operation and neighboring cities); **ESSENTIAL COMPETENCIES** · Excellent driving skills; · Strong traffic awareness and good memory; · Transport materials according to assigned routes; · Assist the truck helper with loading and unloading materials, including heavy construction items such as cement and rebar; · Perform delivery accountability with on-site receipt; · Monitor fuel and lubricant consumption to alert when refueling is needed, as well as service intervals or mileage for maintenance; · Responsible for any damage, defects, or traffic violations incurred during transit; · Ensure vehicle maintenance and safety by performing cleaning, adjustments, and minor repairs, and request professional maintenance when necessary; · Stay updated on traffic regulations and legislation; · Perform other duties compatible with job requirements, such as assisting in the yard during idle time (no deliveries). **BEHAVIORAL COMPETENCIES:** · Good communication skills; · Defensive driving; · Visual and spatial awareness and capability; · Demonstrated attention and concentration.
