Collaboration within a multiprofessional team comprising various specialties **Job Description** Basic Health Units (UBS) are services forming part of the Primary Health Care Network, characterized by extensive geographic coverage and provision of health services in close proximity to users. Their activities focus on **health promotion**, **protection**, **recovery**, and **disease prevention**, both individually and collectively, integrated with other health network services and intersectoral initiatives. UBS offer, by appointment, medical consultations in Pediatrics, Gynecology, and Internal Medicine, as well as multiprofessional team care including Nursing, Dentistry, Social Services, Nutrition, and Psychology (in some units). Additionally, procedures such as inhalations, injections, wound dressings, vaccinations, laboratory test collections, dental treatments, and Pap smear collections are provided, along with referrals to specialized services and distribution of essential medications. **Responsibilities and Duties** Prepare periodic reports defined by ATAF (Pharmaceutical Assistance Technical Area), CRS (Health Regions Coordination), STS (Health Technical Supervision), and the institution, keeping the pharmacy team updated on current norms and legislation; Comply with and supervise compliance with sanitary legislation regarding medications; Participate at all levels in organizing, structuring, restructuring, and operating the pharmacy; Train the pharmacy team on administrative, legal, and technical aspects of the service, including guidance to users on proper medication use; Understand, disseminate, guide, and monitor the request process for medications not included in REMUME (Municipal Essential Medicines List) generated at the unit, and assess compliance with requirements; Conduct and monitor communication between the CFT (Pharmacy and Therapeutics Committee) and prescribers, ensuring prescribers receive the CFT’s (Pharmacy and Therapeutics Committee) formal opinion; Understand, disseminate, and guide the flow of medications under clinical protocols; Understand, disseminate, and guide health teams, users, and the management council regarding access to medications under the Specialized Component of Pharmaceutical Assistance and other medication access programs; Supervise all activities carried out by professionals under their responsibility; Apply and monitor indicators defined by the Pharmaceutical Assistance Technical Area to evaluate local pharmaceutical assistance actions; Inform relevant departments about the need for prescription pads; Use tools to control pharmacy-related activities; Contribute to developing the unit’s specific Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and guide and supervise their implementation; Guide and supervise SOP compliance; Develop a Waste Management Plan (medications), including those returned by the population; Attend to and supervise compliance with current regulations for disposal of expired or unsuitable medications; Support SAC (Citizen Service Center) and the Ombudsman’s Office; Attend to and supervise compliance with Good Practices for Medication Receiving and Storage to maintain quality and therapeutic efficacy; Use the Municipal Health Systems Management Information System (GSS) for medication dispensing and logistical control; Monitor, supervise, and submit suggestions regarding the unit’s medication information logistics to ensure adequate supply levels; Systematically estimate, supervise, and evaluate the unit’s average monthly medication consumption, and keep it updated; Conduct periodic physical inventory of medication stocks, verifying expiration dates; Conduct periodic physical inventory of controlled medication stocks (psychotropic and antimicrobial drugs), verifying expiration dates; Adopt procedures enabling medication reallocation to avoid expiration; Make medications available for reallocation upon request from Health Technical Supervision, respecting stock control regulations; Pay attention to medication-related problems alerts issued by the network and forward information to STS and CRS; Segregate and identify batches and await their recall in cases of medication suspension; Supervise stock control and medication restocking; Perform and supervise temperature control; Attend to and supervise compliance with Good Practices for Medication Dispensing, per current legislation; Know, disseminate, and comply with Municipal Health Secretariat Ordinance No. 338/2014-SMS.G, or any subsequent legislation replacing it, regulating medication prescription and dispensing in municipal-managed Unified Health System (SUS) units; Carry out area/department activities according to immediate manager directives and institutional standards. **Requirements and Qualifications** * Completed high school education * Completed technical course in pharmacy * Minimum six months’ proven experience as a pharmacy technician. **Additional Information** **North Zone: Perus and Pirituba** Available shifts: 40 hours per week | Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM **Fixed-term position.** Position type: Temporary Contract duration: 45 days Compensation: R$4,000.00 – R$5,000.00 per month Selection question(s): * 1.
