Job Objective: The cashier is responsible for processing purchase transactions, ensuring accuracy in cash operations, and providing high-quality customer service. This role is crucial to the customer shopping experience, contributing to the company's image and consumer satisfaction. \* Responsibilities: \- Operate the cash register by accurately recording purchases and receiving payments, ensuring financial transaction accuracy. \- Greet customers courteously, answer questions, and provide support in case of difficulties, ensuring a pleasant shopping experience. \- Maintain organization and cleanliness of the work area, contributing to a pleasant and efficient environment. \- Assist with inventory control by reporting products requiring restocking or showing discrepancies. \- Collaborate with the team by participating in training sessions and meetings to update procedures and continuously improve processes. \* Qualifications: \- Practical knowledge of cash operations and sales processes, with the ability to resolve simple issues arising during transactions. \- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, for interacting with customers and coworkers. \- Ability to work collaboratively in a team and remain calm under pressure, especially during peak customer traffic periods. \- Basic computer literacy, particularly with cash register software and point-of-sale systems. \*\* Educational Qualifications: \- Completed high school education. \*\* Professional Experience: \- Prior experience in customer service or sales positions is considered an advantage but is not mandatory. Internships or previous experience in retail are valued. \*\* KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS: \- Practical knowledge of customer service and cash operations, with sufficient familiarity to handle standard procedures and resolve simple issues.
