Manage fleet and routes, ensuring compliance with defined itineraries and vehicle availability. Monitor delivery and pickup deadlines, tracking operational status and flagging potential delays. Analyze logistics performance indicators (KPIs) to support continuous improvement initiatives and reduce operational costs. Improve logistics processes by proposing and implementing adjustments to optimize routes and resources. Maintain daily communication with drivers, customers, and suppliers, providing operational support and aligning information regarding freight shipments. Previous experience as Logistics Coordinator, Supply Chain Specialist, Logistics Planner, or Logistics Manager may indicate suitability for some responsibilities of this position.
