In this model, the engineer's role evolves from code implementer to system designer—responsible for transforming business problems into executable specifications, defining guardrails, creating validation mechanisms, and orchestrating specialized AI agents for architecture, development, testing, and quality. We seek professionals who understand that code ceases to be the primary asset and instead becomes a byproduct of a well-crafted specification. ⸻ **What You'll Do** * Translate business problems from the logistics ecosystem into clear, complete, and executable specifications. * Design scalable, resilient technical solutions aligned with product objectives. * Create and evolve specialized agents for activities such as architecture, implementation, testing, documentation, and quality. * Define technical and functional guardrails to ensure security, consistency, and compliance of deliverables. * Build validation harnesses to verify behaviors, business rules, and quality criteria. * Apply TDD and automation practices to ensure high reliability. * Orchestrate AI-assisted development workflows involving multiple agents. * Continuously evaluate the quality of deliverables produced by agents. * Evolve reusable engineering frameworks, templates, and standards. * Serve as the technical owner responsible for the quality of results produced by the agent ecosystem. **What We Expect** **Engineering Thinking** * Strong ability to decompose complex problems. * Excellent system and process modeling skills. * Software Architecture vision (Microservices, Clean Architecture, SOLID, Design Patterns). * Ability to abstract and think systemically. **Software Development** * Solid experience in software development with **Node.js (Nest.js)**. * Knowledge of distributed architecture and high-volume systems. * Proficiency in APIs, events, messaging, and integrations (**Queues and Messaging with RabbitMQ and/or GCP Pub/Sub**). * Best practices in quality, cloud infrastructure (**GCP**, **MGC**, or **AWS**) and DevOps culture (**Docker**, CI/CD pipeline concepts and tools). * Solid experience with relational and non-relational databases (**Postgres, MySQL, MongoDB**). **Quality and Reliability** * TDD and automated backend testing. * Unit tests. * Integration tests. * Contract Testing. * Best practices in observability and monitoring. * Validation harnesses. **AI Applied to Engineering** Experience or interest in: * Advanced AI\-coding tools (**Cursor, Cline, GitHub Copilot**). * Development agents and AI-assisted development. * Prompt Engineering. * Context Engineering. * Agentic Workflows. ⸻ **Nice-to-Haves** * Experience with Specification\-Driven Development (SDD). * Building specialized agents. * AI\-Native Engineering. * Evaluation of LLMs and multi-agent systems. * Platform and high-scale environment engineering. * Familiarity with Key\-Value databases (**Redis**). * Prior experience in Logistics, Supply Chain, TMS, e\-commerce, or marketplace integrations. ⸻ **How We Measure Success** Less by volume of code produced and more by the ability to: * Create high-quality specifications. * Build robust guardrails. * Develop reliable harnesses. * Increase agent autonomy. * Reduce rework. * Improve delivery quality and speed. * Scale engineering through automation. ⸻ **The Mindset We Seek** We do not seek people to write more code.
