Does this opportunity match your profile? **Responsibilities and Duties** * Conduct market research by consulting suppliers, analyzing quotations, and engaging in commercial negotiations to ensure optimal purchasing conditions for the Institution—including quality, delivery timelines, and cost-effectiveness. * Analyze purchase requests and orders via administrative systems and internal controls, ensuring all demands are properly specified, approved, and compliant with current institutional policies. * Oversee the entire procurement process—from receipt of the acquisition request through to the actual delivery of materials or services to requesting departments—guaranteeing adherence to deadlines, specifications, and agreed-upon terms. * Monitor and control the receipt of materials and services, performing physical and documentary verification to ensure alignment with specifications, requested quantities, and conditions agreed upon with suppliers. * Record, organize, and maintain up-to-date documentation related to procurement processes, contracts, purchase orders, receipts, and invoices—ensuring traceability, compliance, and support for internal and external audits. * Maintain ongoing communication with suppliers via phone calls, emails, and meetings to align operational procedures, conduct commercial negotiations, and ensure uninterrupted supply. * Continuously expand and diversify the supplier network to enhance competitiveness, mitigate supply-chain risks, and identify better commercial opportunities for the Institution. * Fully comply with the Institution’s Procurement Policy, Compliance Guidelines, and all applicable regulations—ensuring integrity, transparency, and adherence to established institutional procedures. * Track procurement-related performance indicators and prepare management reports and controls to support continuous improvement, operational efficiency, and cost optimization. * Participate in internal meetings and alignment sessions with requesting departments to support demand planning, acquisition prioritization, and appropriate management of institutional resources. **Requirements and Qualifications** * Completed High School education; * Currently enrolled in or graduated from a Bachelor’s degree program in Business Administration, Logistics, Management Processes, Commercial Management, or related fields; * Minimum 1 year of experience in procurement, supply chain, or related activities. * Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office; * Procurement management systems; * Document control and accountability practices; * Basic negotiation techniques; * Supplier analysis and development; * Knowledge of administrative processes and compliance. **Additional Information** **What You’ll Find Here:** * Unimed Health Plan: With co-payment, providing medical coverage and access to a high-quality accredited provider network * OdontoPrev Dental Plan: Nationwide coverage, with monthly premiums deducted directly from payroll * Education Incentive Program: Valuing professional and personal development of employees, offering incentives for specialization, extension courses, language learning, and postgraduate studies at PUCPR * Quality of Life Program * Private Pension Plan * Life Insurance * Transportation Voucher * Wellhub (formerly Gympass): Access to numerous gyms with monthly membership fees deducted from payroll * Zenklub: Access to telehealth sessions with mental health specialists, including two complimentary consultations per month * “Conte Comigo” Program: Multidisciplinary team available for social support, legal guidance (excluding labor-related matters), financial and pension consulting * Benefits Club: Partnerships with companies across various sectors, offering special discounts on services and products **Salary:** Our salary proposal is determined based on multiple factors.
