Description:
Education: Completed High School;
Experience: Minimum of 2 years in procurement/supply chain roles within the retail and/or wholesale sector.
Behavioral/Technical Skills:
* Negotiation skills for procurement and promotional activities with suppliers;
* A mindset that challenges pricing, constantly seeking the best commercial terms and negotiating to pay the lowest possible price without compromising quality;
* Analytical ability to interpret performance indicators and make data-driven decisions;
* Organizational and planning skills to manage tasks and execute them productively and efficiently;
* Strategic market vision for pricing, promotional activities, and building a competitive assortment;
* Proficiency in analytical tools, especially Excel at intermediate or advanced level;
* Ability to manage contracts and maintain ethical, effective relationships with suppliers;
* Handling confidential information responsibly and ethically, respecting access limits and confidentiality, as strategic data may directly impact company performance.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, Commercial Management, or related fields.
* Proficiency in BI tools and market analysis.
* Planning, negotiating, and executing merchandise procurement to ensure competitiveness and product availability, as well as payment terms, aligned with authority levels and guidelines defined by the Commercial Directorate;
* Pricing merchandise within assigned category;
* Managing inventory levels and supply flow;
* Executing promotional activities, negotiating flyers, marketing initiatives, and commercial investments;
* Suggesting changes to product mix;
* Developing new suppliers, managing contracts, and analyzing market trends;
* Monitoring performance indicators, sales evolution, margins, and competitiveness.
