Tech Lead - Fullstack

We are looking for a Fullstack Tech Lead to join the engineering team of one of our Health clients — one of the largest health benefits platforms in Brazil and Mexico, providing access to over 29,000 gyms and present in more than 2,500 cities across Brazil and Mexico. The company boasts a strong technical culture, extremely low turnover, and deeply values its internal teams. You will provide technical leadership to a team of senior engineers and work **hands\-on** to evolve an ecosystem built on Ruby on Rails (core), TypeScript services, and mobile integrations (Flutter). We seek someone who is **autonomous, solution-oriented, and demonstrates strong ownership**, capable of leading technically, making decisions, and executing with minimal managerial dependency. **Responsibilities and duties** **What you will do** * Provide technical leadership to the team and actively contribute hands\-on to development * Evolve the architecture (monolith \+ microservices) to ensure scalability and simplicity * Orchestrate integrations among Ruby on Rails, TypeScript, and other systems * Ensure end\-to\-end quality (code, tests, production, observability) * Perform troubleshooting, performance optimization, and continuous improvement * Support and develop team engineers * Participate in technical decisions and code reviews * Align technology with business needs **Requirements and qualifications** **What we’re looking for (technical requirements)** * Experience as a Tech Lead or Senior engineer with technical leadership responsibilities * Proficiency in backend development with **Ruby on Rails and/or TypeScript** * Hands\-on profile with active coding involvement * Experience with REST APIs and integrations * PostgreSQL and data modeling * Experience with **AWS** * Solid knowledge of **CI/CD, Docker, and Kubernetes** * Automated testing and engineering best practices **Technical differentiators** * Experience with microservices and messaging (SQS/SNS or similar) * Knowledge of Flutter or mobile integrations * Experience with Redis, DynamoDB, or other NoSQL databases * Advanced CI/CD (e.g., GitHub Actions, Argo CD, IaC) * Ability to implement AI to accelerate the development lifecycle * Spanish and/or English proficiency **Expected behavioral profile** * High autonomy and ability to drive projects with minimal managerial oversight * Strong sense of ownership and accountability * Ability to make decisions and evaluate trade\-offs * Systemic thinking and focus on business impact * Clear communication and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams **Additional information** **Work model** * Remote work * Occasional international interactions, generally in writing **Here, we are \#SangueLaranja!** We’ve been in the market for 17 years, partnering closely with our clients to deliver transformative experiences.
