And this conviction guides every choice we make, every project we deliver, and every person we develop. **Key Responsibilities:** Support project managers in estimating and evaluating feasibility and costs; Provide mentoring to team members around you; Assist in onboarding new members to integrate into existing teams or form new teams; Deeply understand the company's business domain; Participate in requirements elicitation and analysis alongside business experts; Communicate effectively across diverse stakeholder levels—technical and non-technical alike; Support the company in envisioning future products through understood requirements and insight into the company’s business strategies; Serve as the primary technical reference for other teams and architects with software expertise. **Activities to be performed:** * Document systems using UML * Develop systems with Java or Node.js backend and Angular or Adobe Flex frontend; * Maintain/evolve hybrid mobile systems using HTML and native Android and iOS code; * Respond to service tickets and provide team support; * Validate system architecture and API design; * Maintain/evolve frameworks supporting business systems **Mandatory Requirements:** * Java; * JEE development; * Web development with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript; * MS SQL and/or IBM DB2 development; * System integration. * Hybrid mobile development (native/responsive web). **Desired Knowledge:** * System architecture; * APIs; * UML; * Design patterns; * ANSI SQL; * Application servers; * Continuous integration; * Unit testing. * Adobe Flex; * Node.js; * Angular 7+; * Redux; Focus on Security and Compliance: * Demonstrate solid knowledge of information security, financial regulations, and how to ensure compliance with laws such as LGPD and Open Finance. * The candidate must be able to discuss solutions for protecting critical data and systems in a highly regulated environment. Ability to Work with Legacy Systems: * Many financial institutions still operate legacy systems, requiring skill in handling older technologies and adapting them to new demands without compromising operations. * The candidate must possess an analytical and creative mindset to integrate and optimize these systems. Project Management Skills: * Beyond technical knowledge, the ability to manage timelines, budgets, and expectations across departments is essential, as many projects are business-critical and have tight deadlines. Knowledge of System Architecture: * The ability to discuss distributed and high-availability system architectures is a strong differentiator. Many financial institutions need professionals who understand how to design resilient and scalable systems. Proficiency in Agile Tools and Methodologies: * Experience with agile methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban is frequently required, as many institutions adopt more flexible and collaborative development practices. Ability to Solve Complex Problems: * Real-time problem solving—often with direct impact on financial operations—is an ongoing challenge. Candidates must demonstrate logical reasoning, critical analysis, and rapid, effective decision-making.
