**What are we looking for?** **Key responsibilities:** * Develop and maintain backend applications in Java, using Spring Boot as the primary framework for building APIs and services; * Design and implement integration solutions between systems, ensuring efficient communication in distributed architectures; * Participate in defining and evolving SOA- and microservices-based architectures, ensuring scalability, resilience, and maintainability; * Develop, consume, and maintain RESTful APIs, ensuring quality standards, performance, and appropriate documentation; * Implement messaging and asynchronous communication solutions between systems, using tools such as Kafka, Pub/Sub, or equivalents; * Work in cloud environments on Google Cloud Platform (GCP), supporting the development, deployment, and maintenance of solutions; * Use Docker to create, run, and standardize development and production environments; * Model and evolve distributed systems, ensuring high availability, scalability, and robustness of applications; * Implement and ensure security practices for APIs and integrations, including OAuth2, JWT, and authentication/authorization controls; * Actively participate in technical decision-making, contributing to architectural evolution and continuous improvement of solutions. **Requirements:** * Solid backend development experience with Java, preferably using Spring Boot; * Strong experience in system integration projects and distributed architecture; * Advanced knowledge of Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) and microservices; * Experience developing and consuming RESTful APIs; * Hands-on experience with messaging and asynchronous processing solutions, such as Pub/Sub, Kafka, or similar; * Practical experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP); * Knowledge of containers and orchestration using Docker; * Experience modeling and building scalable, resilient, and distributed systems; * Knowledge of security applied to integrations and APIs, including OAuth2, JWT, and best practices for authentication/authorization. **Nice-to-have:** * Experience with Kubernetes, especially Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE); * Knowledge of API Gateway and enterprise API management; * Experience with Event-Driven Architecture (EDA); * Experience with CI/CD (Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery) pipelines and tools; * Certifications in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or cloud solution architecture; * Knowledge of observability practices, including distributed logging, metrics, and application tracing. **Work location:** 100% remote. **Why build your career at Meta?** We offer autonomy, clear goals, and a dynamic, challenging environment where professionals have the opportunity to interact with diverse technologies, participate in all types of projects, bring new ideas, and work from anywhere in Brazil—and why not, the world.
