UTUA operates traffic arbitration in ~50 countries and is building Cortex & Sinapse, an AI agent platform for operational decision-making. The Data Lake connects everything: what Cortex records as actions and what operations produce as outcomes become data models consumed by AI. Wrong data here leads to blind AI decisions. We are opening a Senior Data Engineer position for those who want to grow quickly while building something real, with direct mentorship from the Head of Data and a clear career path to Staff level. **What you will build:** * Dimensional models (dbt + BigQuery) of Operational Results consumed by AI * Modeling of Operational Actions—what the agent has already done in operations * Schema for Reports and Analyses, with indexing for hybrid search * Tests, data quality, and data contracts—because the consumer is an AI agent, not a dashboard **What we seek:** * Strong SQL skills and hands-on dimensional modeling experience * Experience using dbt or ability to learn it quickly (solid foundation required) * Critical thinking: questioning inconsistent numbers, not just delivering models * Genuine hunger to grow—this Senior role is a defined path to Staff level **Contract model:** PJ **Compensation:** To be negotiated
