We’re looking for people committed to results, who take ownership of their careers and are ready to deliver creative and impactful solutions. **Become a Sympler!** **What will your day-to-day look like as a Senior Mobile Developer (iOS) here?** -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- * **Develop and evolve Sympla’s iOS app**, ensuring high performance, scalability, and an exceptional user experience. * **Design and implement new features**, applying mobile development best practices and ensuring sustainable, well-structured code. * **Define technical standards and guidelines** for iOS development, promoting best practices and mentoring junior developers on the team. * **Ensure code quality**, reviewing PRs and applying engineering standards to maintain a clean, modular, and testable codebase. * **Actively participate in software architecture and design processes**, ensuring the app is built in a scalable and sustainable manner. * **Optimize application performance**, ensuring low resource consumption, fast execution, and smooth navigation. * **Integrate RESTful APIs and backend services**, consuming external data and ensuring efficient communication between the app and server. * **Collaborate closely with Product, UX/UI, and Backend teams**, ensuring the best possible user experience and strategic alignment of initiatives. * **Implement and maintain automated tests**, using XCTest, UI Testing, and other tools to ensure app stability and reliability. * **Tackle complex problems and resolve critical bugs**, ensuring application stability and reliability. * **Contribute to strategic technology team decisions**, participating in tool, framework, and architecture selections. **What do you need to join our Mobile Development team?** ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ * **Solid experience with Swift and Objective-C**, with a proven track record developing and maintaining native iOS applications. * **Deep knowledge of the iOS ecosystem**, including UIKit, SwiftUI, CoreData, Combine, Grand Central Dispatch (GCD), and local storage. * **Experience with mobile app software architecture**, including patterns such as MVVM, VIPER, Clean Architecture, or SOLID. * **Advanced expertise in performance and optimization**, with hands-on experience using tools like Instruments and Xcode Profiler. * **Proficiency in unit testing, UI testing, and TDD**, ensuring high test coverage and application stability. * **Experience with CI/CD for iOS**, using tools such as Fastlane, Bitrise, or GitHub Actions. * **Familiarity with agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban)** and effective collaboration within cross-functional teams. * **Experience integrating RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and WebSockets**, ensuring efficient communication between the app and backend. * **Strong command of Git version control**, using workflows such as Git Flow. * **Experience publishing and maintaining apps on the App Store**, including code signing, certificates, and Apple’s guidelines. * **Technical leadership and mentoring capability**, helping develop the team and ensuring best practices in development. * **Collaborative, communicative, and analytical mindset**, with the ability to thrive in dynamic environments and solve complex problems. **Nice-to-have qualifications that could set you apart:** -------------------------------------------------- * Experience with **SwiftUI** and its production use. * Knowledge of **Augmented Reality (ARKit)** and **Machine Learning (Core ML)**. * Experience with **Push Notifications and Background Tasks** on iOS. * Familiarity with **Firebase, Analytics, and crash monitoring tools (e.g., Sentry and Crashlytics)**. * Knowledge of mobile security, including encryption and reverse-engineering protection. **Work model:** **Fully remote across Brazil!** ------------------------------------------------------ **Sympla prioritizes diversity and plurality.** We believe a diverse team is essential for innovation and success.
