We seek a hands-on professional capable of working on both native and hybrid applications, as well as maintaining and evolving the backend. The candidate will join a team responsible for **IoT (Internet of Things)** solutions, developing applications integrated with the **Tuya SmartLife SDK**, smart devices, and cloud services. * **Day-to-day responsibilities include:** + Development and maintenance of native applications in **Kotlin (Android)** and **Swift (iOS)** integrated with the Tuya SmartLife ecosystem. + Development and evolution of applications in **React Native**. + Maintenance and evolution of the backend in **Node.js** and **Next.js** applications. + Integration among mobile applications, APIs, IoT devices, and cloud services. **Responsibilities and duties:** * Develop and maintain mobile applications using **React Native, Kotlin, and Swift**. * Evolve and maintain backend applications using **Node.js and Next.js**. * Integrate native SDKs, REST APIs, WebSockets, and third-party services. * Implement features related to pairing, control, and automation of IoT devices using the Tuya ecosystem. * Develop reusable components following best practices in architecture and performance. * Participate in defining technical solutions alongside Architecture and Product teams. * Ensure quality through automated testing and development best practices. * Conduct code reviews, refactoring, and continuous improvement of the codebase. * Actively participate in agile ceremonies and collaborate with cross-functional teams. * Contribute to the product’s technical evolution by proposing improvements in architecture, performance, and user experience. **Required skills:** * Solid experience (5+ years) as a Full Stack Developer. * Advanced experience with **React**, **React Native**, **TypeScript**, and modern JavaScript (ES6+). * Solid experience with **Node.js** and **Next.js**. * Solid experience in native Android development using **Kotlin**. * Solid experience in native iOS development using **Swift**. * Knowledge of integrating native SDKs, bridge modules, and REST APIs. * Experience with authentication (OAuth2, JWT), WebSockets, and API consumption. * Knowledge of Git, GitFlow, semantic versioning, and CI/CD pipelines. * Experience in software architecture, coding best practices, automated testing, and code review. * Experience working on IoT projects or integration with physical devices is considered a significant advantage. * Strong communication skills, autonomy, sense of responsibility, and ability to collaborate effectively in teams. * **Mandatory: Use of AI in development:** We seek professionals who **already use Artificial Intelligence as part of their daily software development workflow**. * Practical experience expected with tools such as: + Cursor + GitHub Copilot + Claude Code + OpenAI Codex + or equivalent tools * Candidates are expected to use AI to accelerate development, code generation and review, test creation, documentation, debugging, refactoring, and support for technical decision-making. **Skills that will help you stand out:** * Experience with the **Tuya SmartLife SDK**, Tuya IoT Platform, and Tuya Panel Kit. * Knowledge of IoT protocols such as BLE, Zigbee, MQTT, and Wi-Fi. * Experience developing applications connected to smart devices. * Knowledge of Clean Architecture, SOLID principles, and Design Patterns. * Experience with Redux Toolkit, MobX, or other state management libraries. * Knowledge of Design Systems and UI libraries. * Experience with monitoring and observability (Firebase, Sentry, Datadog). * Experience publishing and maintaining apps on the App Store and Google Play. * Knowledge of Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or other CI/CD tools. * Experience with Docker and cloud environments is considered a plus. **What you’ll find at GX2:** * Original content hub segmented by knowledge tracks (AI, QA, Agile, UX/UI Design, Product, Software Development); * Monthly talks focused on soft skills development; * Culture of care for people and mental health; * Mental health and wellness platform; * GX2 Follow Up: Individual monthly check-ins focused on well-being and professional development. **A message from GX2:** This position is open to all interested individuals.
