Ensure the safety conditions of patients and the multidisciplinary team Perform technical and nursing care procedures within one's scope of responsibility, complete specific Nursing Care documentation as directed by the Registered Nurse, and welcome patients in a manner that ensures continuous attention to their needs. **Responsibilities and Duties** Comply with regulations issued by the Regional Nursing Council; Ensure adherence to institutional routines; Provide care to users from admission onward, and accompany them during interdepartmental transfers, as assessed by the Registered Nurse; Complete specific Nursing Care documentation according to departmental/sector routines, under the guidance of the Registered Nurse; Carry out actions and activities as instructed by the Registered Nurse; Request the presence of the Registered Nurse whenever necessary; Provide safe, humane, and individualized nursing care to patients under the supervision of the Registered Nurse, and collaborate in teaching and research activities conducted by the Institution; Instruct patients and assist physicians, and provide patient support during examinations; Instruct and assist patients, providing information regarding hygiene, nutrition, medication use, and specific care during examinations; Monitor vital signs and general patient conditions per medical and nursing prescriptions; Prepare and administer medications via oral, topical, intradermal, subcutaneous, intramuscular, intravenous, and rectal routes, per medical prescription and under the supervision of the Registered Nurse; Receive and hand over shifts while maintaining effective communication among teams; File nursing records per guidance from the Regional Nursing Council and the Registered Nurse; Interact with various processes and services within the unit; Use equipment and accessories appropriately for care delivery, ensuring their maintenance and hygiene; Use materials and supplies correctly to deliver nursing care and ensure patient well-being; Accompany unaccompanied minors to consultations as directed by the Registered Nurse; Perform care procedures focusing on safety and infection risk reduction; Maintain an organized and clean workplace; Receive and/or transfer patients to the Surgical Center when required; Attend meetings when requested; Participate in trainings and development programs offered by the Institution; Ensure environmental safety conditions for patients and the multidisciplinary team; Prioritize higher-complexity procedures as directed by the Registered Nurse; Stock the Operating Room with appropriate materials and equipment according to each surgical procedure type and individual patient needs described in the Surgical Center’s nursing care plan, when required; Clean contaminants from exposed equipment and surfaces, following guidance from the Hospital Infection Control Service; Verify correct positioning of catheters, tubes, and drains, and notify the Registered Nurse in case of irregularities; Use equipment, permanent and disposable materials, and uniforms correctly; Accurately complete all forms related to the patient’s medical record and the Institution; Report equipment or material defects to the Registered Nurse; Open sterile materials using aseptic techniques; Follow medical and nursing care prescriptions; **Requirements and Qualifications** * Be at least 18 years old * Have completed high school * Have completed a Technical Nursing course * Hold active registration with the Professional Council * Minimum of 6 (six) months’ verifiable experience as a Nursing Technician in emergency/urgency settings * Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (in-person), valid for 2 years. **Additional Information** Benefits: * Meal Voucher; * Food Allowance; * Medical Assistance (optional enrollment); * Dental Assistance (optional enrollment); * Partnerships with Wellhub (Gympass), SESC, Zenklub, universities, colleges, and pharmacies. * Daycare Assistance **SPDM – Associação Paulista para o Desenvolvimento da Medicina** is a non-profit, philanthropic civil association recognized as being of federal, state, and municipal public utility, respectively by Decrees No. 57,925 dated 03/04/1966, No. 40,103 dated 05/17/1962, and No. 8,911 dated 07/30/1970.
