Employee development and training The Loss Prevention Supervisor is responsible for leading the loss prevention team, safeguarding assets and operations, and minimizing risks of operational losses, theft, fraud, and waste. They manage work schedules and vacations, hire and terminate employees, assign daily tasks, and monitor team performance. Their role also includes training and developing the team, ensuring security and loss control procedures are effectively implemented, and promoting a culture of awareness among employees. Manage and lead a team focused on minimizing losses and controlling company security. Ensure all employees are properly trained and qualified to perform their duties efficiently. Balance work schedules and vacations, ensuring uninterrupted operations. Keep the team motivated and engaged, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment. Ensure loss prevention activities align with the company’s strategic objectives, balancing performance goals, loss control, and operational efficiency **Team Management**: Lead the loss prevention team, ensuring efficient task distribution and execution focused on results. **Scheduling and Vacation Planning**: Manage team work schedules and vacations, ensuring operational continuity and adequate coverage across all shifts. Create and monitor task schedules to ensure all activities are executed efficiently. Monitor security systems (CCTV, alarms, access control) and oversee investigations of loss incidents. Collaborate with Logistics and Operations departments as needed to ensure compliance with standards and minimize risks. Ensure proper documentation and handling of incidents, including internal/external theft, damages, discrepancies, and inventory inconsistencies. Supervise correct implementation of store/establishment opening and closing procedures. Collaborate with internal and external investigations requested by Executive Management, Management, and Legal Department when necessary. Stay updated on industry best practices, emerging technologies, and applicable legislation concerning asset security and loss prevention. Conduct investigative interviews and apply fact-finding techniques in cases of suspected misconduct. **Hiring and Training**: Conduct employee hiring and termination, and train and qualify the team to ensure performance and achievement of loss prevention objectives. **Task Assignment**: Manage the hiring and termination processes for the team, ensuring an appropriate and efficient workforce.
