We are looking for a professional to join our IT team, responsible for acting as a technical reference in information security — leading the identification, analysis, and mitigation of cyber risks, as well as continuously improving security controls, tools, and practices to ensure protection of technological assets and enhance the organization’s cybersecurity maturity. **Responsibilities and Duties** * Monitor and respond to high-complexity security incidents by leveraging tools (EDR, SIEM, firewall, among others), analyzing alerts, and applying advanced incident response procedures to detect and contain threats in a timely manner. * Conduct forensic analysis and investigation of security events through log correlation, IOC identification, and use of specialized tools to diagnose root causes and propose corrective actions. * Manage vulnerabilities and support remediation plans by performing and analyzing scans, prioritizing risks, and collaborating with technical teams to reduce exposures and strengthen the environment. * Assess security requirements for new systems, vendors, and environments by applying checklists, validating configurations, and analyzing compliance with standards to ensure security and compliance from implementation onward. * Technically lead information security projects and initiatives by defining architectures, solutions, and best practices to elevate the maturity and efficiency of security processes. * Support the definition and evolution of security controls and policies by applying frameworks and risk analysis to strengthen governance and standardization of processes. * Communicate security risks, incidents, and recommendations by preparing technical and executive reports to support decision-making and promote organizational awareness. Perform other related and inherent professional activities as required by the area, whenever necessary, through training, professional qualification, and guidance from the immediate leader, to ensure continuous professional development. * **Requirements and Qualifications** * Completed Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Project Management, or related fields * Postgraduate degree/MBA in Information Security, ISO 27\.001 and/or Cybersecurity Framework (CSF) * Advanced English proficiency * Professional experience in planning, implementing, and maintaining the entire infrastructure for corporate information and data security * Knowledge of SIEM, XDR/EDR, WAF, IAM, and vulnerability management * Proficiency in networks, operating systems, and IT architecture * Experience in log analysis, event correlation, and incident response * Knowledge of NIST, CIS, and ISO 27001 * Experience with Microsoft environments (AD, Entra ID, M365\) * Knowledge of KQL/XQL, Python, Bash, and PowerShell * Intermediate Office suite proficiency * Customer focus, professionalism, collaboration, innovation, decision-making ability, business and strategic vision **Additional Information** * Health and Dental Insurance * Life Insurance * Meal and/or Food Allowance * Transportation Allowance * Profit Sharing Program (PLR) * Wellhub * Wellz * Day Off * Apoio Pass for you and your dependents * Discounts on personal insurance contracts such as auto, life, home, travel, and others. **Here, you define the pace of your growth and the scale of your achievements.** MDS is one of the leading insurance brokerage firms in Brazil, specializing in insurance, reinsurance, benefits management, and risk consulting.
