Job Summary: Environmental Engineer to plan, control, and monitor environmental aspects in civil construction projects, ensuring regulatory compliance and sustainability. Key Highlights: 1. Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and coordinate with regulatory agencies. **Position: Environmental Engineer – Civil Construction** We are seeking an Environmental Engineer to plan, control, and monitor environmental aspects in civil construction projects, ensuring compliance with current legislation and project sustainability. **Main Responsibilities:** * Manage and oversee environmental licensing processes; * Monitor environmental impacts arising from construction activities (soil, water, air, and waste); * Prepare technical reports, environmental studies, and environmental control plans (e.g., PCA, PGRS); * Implement mitigation and corrective measures to reduce environmental impacts; * Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and licensing conditions; * Coordinate with regulatory and supervisory agencies; * Conduct environmental training and awareness programs for construction teams; * Oversee waste management and appropriate use of natural resources. **Requirements:** * Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering or related fields; * Active registration with CREA; * Experience in civil construction projects; * Knowledge of environmental legislation and licensing procedures; * Proficiency in preparing technical reports. **Preferred Qualifications:** * Experience with environmental certifications (e.g., ISO 14001); * Knowledge of construction waste management; * Experience conducting environmental audits; * Valid driver’s license and willingness to conduct on-site visits. **Desired Competencies:** * Organization and attention to detail; * Proactivity and environmental responsibility; * Strong communication and interpersonal skills; * Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
