Job Description The HSE Supervisor is responsible for implementing, monitoring, and improving the company’s health, safety, and environmental (HSE) programs. Ensures that operations comply with applicable legislation, technical standards, and corporate policies, promoting a culture of risk prevention and environmental preservation. Supervise and implement HSE programs and ensure compliance with current labor and environmental legislation. Conduct field safety inspections, internal audits, and behavioral observations. Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses, preparing reports and action plans. Develop, review, and implement operational procedures, safety policies, and legal documents. Deliver training sessions, onboarding programs, and awareness campaigns on occupational health and safety (OHS) and environmental protection. Monitor HSE indicators, prepare periodic reports, and propose corrective/preventive actions. Ensure proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and collective protective equipment (CPE), promoting sound safety practices. Participate in planning and risk analysis meetings (e.g., JSA, PT, DDS). Support environmental licensing processes, waste collection, effluent control, and other environmental requirements. Supervise teams of safety technicians or personnel assigned to HSE activities. Interact with regulatory authorities as required. Client communications and participation in meetings. Education * Technical degree in Occupational Safety or higher education in related fields (e.g., Environmental Engineering, Safety Engineering, Environmental Management). * Specialization in Occupational Safety Engineering preferred for more complex roles. Experience * Experience in HSE management or supervision (typically 2–5 years). * Experience in the wind energy sector. Knowledge and Skills * Knowledge of labor and environmental legislation (e.g., Brazilian NRs, ISO 14001, ISO 45001). * Leadership and team management capabilities. * Proficiency in risk analysis and incident investigation. * Clear and assertive communication skills. * Proficiency in reporting and indicator tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI).
