Would you like to join us in the **Universe of Knowledge?** If you want to learn more about **Vitru** and its brands Unicesumar and Uniasselvi, please visit our website: https://www.vitru.com.br/. **Job Title: Professor-Author | Content Curation and Validation - REAL-TIME DATA ENGINEERING (STREAMING) - EdTech | Vitru** Vitru Educação is seeking a Professor-Author to perform technical review, academic validation, and conceptual curation for the discipline REAL-TIME DATA ENGINEERING (STREAMING), within the Postgraduate Program in High-Performance Computing and Distributed Systems, offered in the distance learning (EAD) modality. **ABOUT THE ROLE:** In this opportunity, the core content is developed by our internal team, and the Professor-Author’s role is to ensure theoretical rigor, scientific currency, and pedagogical alignment, covering: **Content Curation and Validation** * Technical review of 3 topics (20–30 pages each) * Analysis of conceptual currency, language, and audience appropriateness * Verification and, if necessary, supplementation of references * Direct implementation of revisions in the material (not merely suggestions) **Assessment and Supplementary Activities** * Validation of 3 self-study questions per topic * Review and validation of 15 objective questions per topic * Validation of supplementary materials (1 case study + 10 questions) **Audiovisual Content** * Validation of scripts and recording of 3 video lectures (10–15 minutes each) **COURSE SYLLABUS:** Fundamentals of Edge and Fog Computing in decentralized architectures. Data processing near the source and comparison among Edge, Fog, and Cloud. Impacts of latency, bandwidth, and connectivity in distributed scenarios. Use of IoT gateways and cloud integration. Practical applications in IoT, 5G, and real-time systems. **REQUIREMENTS:** * Postgraduate degree (lato or stricto sensu)—Specialization, Master’s, or Doctorate—in the discipline’s field*. * Familiarity with Google Docs and/or Word. * Organizational skills, deadline management, and writing clarity. * Prior experience in producing books or educational materials will be considered an advantage.
