Job Summary: We are seeking an instructor with deep knowledge and hands-on experience in Game Design to teach undergraduate and graduate courses, guiding students through practical projects. Guide students by answering questions and providing feedback on assignments, with emphasis on project work. **Requirements and Qualifications** **Mandatory Requirements:** * In-depth knowledge of Game Design * Practical experience with Game Engines (Unity/Unreal) * Brazilian-recognized or revalidated Lato Sensu (specialization or MBA) or Stricto Sensu (Master’s or PhD) postgraduate degree **Desirable Requirements:** * Master’s or doctoral degree * Professional experience applying the above competencies in top-tier projects and companies * Teaching experience or related activities such as lectures, webinars, internal training, etc. **Additional Information** ATTENTION: **NO** prior experience as a higher education instructor is required. The institution believes in and supports the development of new instructors, provided they possess solid professional experience in the field, strong communication skills, and natural aptitude for teaching. **Instructor Expectations:** * Belief in project-based practical learning * Willingness to learn and apply the institution’s competency-based teaching model * Strong verbal communication skills * Availability to fulfill core teaching responsibilities—including grading assignments, student support, and lesson preparation * For this position, availability to teach evening classes remotely **Compensation and Employment Terms:** * CLT employment regime, initial compensation ranging from R$ 52.31 to R$ 124.78 per classroom hour depending on modality, academic credentials, and experience, plus various allowances * Career progression up to R$ 124.78 per classroom hour, including a 5% enhancement for Master’s and 10% for Doctoral degrees * Paid weekly rest (i.e., an additional 1/6 on top of the amounts stated above) * Paid collective vacations of 30 days per year, 13th salary, FGTS, INSS, and optional transportation allowance * Education assistance scholarships for the instructor and dependents, based on total weekly teaching hours * Seniority bonus after three years of service **** ----- ECDD is a college with nearly 20 years of experience training professionals for the creative industry.
