We seek someone who thrives in collaborative environments, has strong backend expertise, and is also comfortable working on the frontend—contributing to technical decisions, architecture, and team evolution. **** Here, we value proactive, collaborative, curious, and results-oriented individuals who want to grow within a dynamic, innovative environment deeply connected to the market. **Responsibilities and duties** **Your day-to-day will include:** * Designing and developing scalable and resilient fullstack applications, with backend in **Java** and/or **Python**, and frontend in **React**; * Leading integration of internal and external systems, ensuring correct communication and operation among services, APIs, and interfaces; * Defining architectural, coding, and CI/CD pipeline standards for the squad, with primary focus on the backend; * Ensuring end-to-end high availability, security, and performance—from database to user interface; * Mentoring and guiding Junior and Mid-level developers, promoting sound engineering practices across the entire stack; * Proposing innovative technical solutions for caching, queues, messaging, and event processing—also contributing to frontend component architecture; * Translating business requirements into technical specifications, participating in UX/UI decisions when necessary; * Interacting with, supporting, and accompanying business and product teams—providing technical input from solution conception through to delivery. **Requirements and qualifications** **What Grupo RBS expects from you:** * Advanced programming experience with Java (Spring Boot, Spring Data JPA/Hibernate, Maven/Gradle) and/or Python (Flask, Django, FastAPI, SQLAlchemy, pip/Poetry/virtualenv); * Solid experience with React, including hooks, API consumption, and basic state management (Context API or similar); * Knowledge of HTML, CSS/Tailwind, and responsive design best practices; * Advanced experience with REST APIs, integration with external systems, and messaging; * Solid experience with microservices, event-driven architecture, scalability, and fault tolerance; * Experience with caching and messaging: Redis (Streams/PubSub), RabbitMQ, Kafka, or Google Cloud Pub/Sub—including queue/topic design, retry mechanisms, durability, and event orchestration; * Experience with relational and non-relational databases, complex modeling, and performance optimization; * Experience with cloud computing (preferably GCP) and DevOps practices; * Solid experience with Git, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines; * Hands-on experience with CDN, load balancing, and caching. **Additional information** **Internal candidates must apply by 07/18/2026.** **At Grupo RBS, we offer (CLT):** On-site cafeteria or meal/food allowance (depending on work model: remote, hybrid, or in-office) Health insurance Transportation allowance or parking Private pension plan Profit-sharing program Extended maternity and paternity leave TotalPass Access to Uniglobo—a training platform offered by TV Globo for affiliates Digital subscription to GZH Membership in the Subscriber Club, offering exclusive discounts and benefits across categories such as gastronomy and entertainment Opportunity to join ARBS (Grupo RBS Employees’ Association), providing various partnerships and discounts **RBS is made of people.** With nearly 70 years of history, we connect daily with 11 million residents of Rio Grande do Sul, delivering information, services, and emotion through TV, radio, digital platforms, and newspapers.
