Here, you are not merely executing tasks—you are co-constructing. #### **About the Role:** We are seeking a **Mid-Level Data Engineer** to develop solutions integrating tools, services, and applications across Brasil Paralelo, ensuring data quality, reliability, and scalability. The ideal candidate combines strong development skills with analytical insight, working with event-driven systems and modern architectures to support high-impact digital products. #### **Responsibilities:** * Design, develop, and maintain solutions connecting BP’s data and products using Python and Clojure; * Build incremental, automated, and monitored data integrations using Airflow, Kafka, dbt, BigQuery, Datadog, and others; * Optimize processes, services, and tools to manage data flows at scale; * Work with diverse data sources and platforms (SQL, NoSQL, cloud storage, REST APIs, event-driven architectures); * Implement data quality, governance, and security practices within GCP / BigQuery; * Refactor and audit complex pipelines using SQL and monitoring tools such as Datadog; * Promote a data-driven culture across the company by sharing best practices through documentation, presentations, and cross-functional collaboration. #### **Requirements:** * Solid experience in data engineering and software development best practices; * Knowledge of ETL / ELT processes; * Familiarity with Data Warehouse technologies; * Experience with event-driven data architectures; * Proficiency in distributed systems, data structures, and algorithms; * Advanced knowledge of databases, SQL, and query optimization. #### **Nice-to-Haves:** * Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science and/or Engineering; * Experience with functional programming languages; * Advanced knowledge of Data Warehousing (CDC, SCD, etc.); * Experience with Docker and Kubernetes; * Knowledge of Product Analytics & Event Tracking tools (Google Analytics, Mixpanel, Amplitude). #### **Benefits:** * Health insurance; * Dental insurance; * Life insurance; * Annual bonus; #### **Work Location:** * Av.
