Description
The Network Technician I is responsible for assisting in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of computer networks. Works under supervision, performing tests, identifying problems, and proposing solutions.
* Assist in the installation and configuration of network equipment, such as switches, routers, and access points.
* Perform network connectivity and performance tests, identifying potential failures and bottlenecks.
* Support preventive and corrective maintenance of the network infrastructure, replacing cables, connectors, and other components.
* Collaborate on network documentation, recording configurations, topology, and maintenance procedures.
* Participate in network expansion or upgrade projects, following guidance from network analysts and engineers.
* Maintenance and implementation of mine dispatch, anti\-fatigue, and anti\-collision systems.
* Continuously learn and stay updated on new technologies and trends in computer networking.
* Follow information security standards and networking best practices to ensure data integrity and confidentiality.
