Job Description:
Objective: Ensure financial and accounting integrity, optimize resources, and provide reliable information to the executive team.
* Reporting: Typically reports to the Finance Manager or Controller.
* Functional Areas: Treasury, Accounts Payable/Receivable, Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A)
Key Responsibilities and Routine:
* Cash Flow and Treasury Management:
+ Daily cash flow updates.
+ Control of inflows and outflows (accounts payable and receivable).
+ Bank reconciliation and balance management.
+ Invoice processing
+ SACI system (desirable)
* Financial Report and Statement Analysis:
+ Analysis of balance sheets and income statements (Statement of Profit or Loss).
+ Identification and explanation of budget variances (Forecast vs. Actual).
+ Use of tools such as aging lists to monitor outstanding payments/receivables.
* Financial Planning and Budgeting:
+ Development and review of annual and monthly budgets.
+ Revenue and expense forecasting.
+ Economic feasibility studies for projects (IRR, ROI).
* Operational Processes and Compliance:
+ Accounting and cost center classification.
+ Analysis of invoices, tax withholdings, and financial documents.
+ Support for internal and external audits.
* Risk Analysis and Decision-Making:
+ Monitoring of fiscal health and identification of financial risks.
+ Support in defining cost-reduction strategies.
