Job Summary: Develop new products and improvements for the school furniture line, from concept to industrialization, ensuring compliance with technical standards. Key Highlights: 1. Multifunctional collaboration across the product lifecycle Responsibilities \* Develop new products for the school furniture line, from concept through release to production. \* Prepare designs, technical drawings, 3D models, and product specifications. \* Research, interpret, and apply technical standards (ABNT, INMETRO, and other applicable standards), ensuring product compliance and certification. \* Plan, monitor, and validate performance, durability, safety, and quality tests for products. \* Develop improvements for existing products, aiming to enhance quality, ergonomics, safety, productivity, and reduce costs. \* Select appropriate materials, components, and manufacturing processes for each project. \* Prepare bills of materials (BOM), technical datasheets, manufacturing routings, and other engineering documentation. \* Collaborate with Production, Quality, Procurement, PCP, and Sales departments during new product development and industrialization. \* Analyze field issues and propose continuous improvement actions. \* Monitor market trends, innovations in school furniture, and new technologies applicable to product development \# Requirements \* Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, Materials Engineering, or related fields. \* Experience in industrial product development. \* Knowledge of technical drawing and 3D modeling. \* Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks). \* Knowledge of metallurgical manufacturing processes, welding, electrostatic painting, and assembly is considered a plus. \* Familiarity with technical standards and product certification procedures. \* Strong analytical ability, organizational skills, creativity, and results orientation.
