Your primary mission and responsibilities will include: * Building the world we want to live in tomorrow by supporting direct material procurement activities, contributing to the development of a sustainable supply chain; * Monitoring and supporting activities within the Procurement department, contributing to process improvements and consolidating academic knowledge gained during your studies; * Supporting quality, sustainability, capacity, and cost targets for purchased materials; * Providing technical/commercial support to projects, developing and executing sub-commodity strategies; * Supporting initiatives to resolve issues jointly with the supply chain; * Supporting implementation of “Building Tomorrow’s Purchasing”. **Work location: Pederneiras/SP** **Who are you?** ---------------- We are seeking an intern to join the Procurement department at Volvo Pederneiras (Projects & Operations), currently pursuing a degree in Mechanical, Production, Electrical, Civil or Materials Engineering, with graduation expected between July 2027 and December 2028. You will support strategic departmental initiatives—including supplier cost and process optimization projects, internal process reviews, continuous improvement, and support for delivery method management and overall supply chain management. You will have the opportunity to connect with various members of the procurement team, supplier developers, engineering, quality—both domestically and internationally—participating in and contributing ideas and solutions to ongoing processes. Additionally, you will be challenged to gain hands-on experience and develop your professional competencies. Therefore, we seek a candidate full of energy, capable of analyzing data, applying creativity, demonstrating responsibility and ownership mindset—someone who sees opportunities where others see risks, who is willing to drive change and strive for excellence to deliver results. Proficiency in English (as a second language) is essential for communicating with colleagues, partners, and global contacts.
