To check your application status, please use the candidate login on our careers page, as it will reflect any updates.** **Job Profile / Responsibilities:** * Provide technical support for all requirements in the development of industrial devices used in the manufacturing of components, product assembly, and testing for Caterpillar products. * Translate design and manufacturing requirements into industrial device designs. * Support internal customers, including Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, and Operations. * Conduct cost and capability analysis of designs. * Ensure compliance with guidelines, safety standards, and applicable environmental requirements in manufacturing. **Skills:** * Decision Making and Critical Thinking: Knowledge of decision-making processes and associated tools and techniques; ability to analyze situations accurately and make productive decisions based on informed judgment. * Manufacturing Processes: Knowledge of existing methods, technologies, and processes for product manufacturing; ability to execute, plan, manage, and monitor the entire manufacturing process. * Manufacturing Safety: Knowledge of manufacturing safety practices; ability to identify occupational hazards and carry out necessary activities to meet regulatory requirements for worker, environmental, and workplace protection. * Manufacturing Standards, Procedures, and Policies: Knowledge of organizational standards, procedures, and policies applied to manufacturing activities; ability to plan, guide, and monitor processes to ensure compliance. **Basic Qualifications:** * Bachelor's degree in Engineering, preferably Mechanical Engineering. * Upper-intermediate English proficiency. * Experience in developing industrial device projects (mechanical, with electrical and hydraulic actuation). * Proficiency with Office 365 tools. * Knowledge of 2D and 3D modeling software (CREO, NX). **Preferred Candidates Should Have:** * Postgraduate degree in Business or Project Management. * Advanced skills in modeling tools (CREO, NX). * Experience with 3D printing. * Knowledge of industrial automation applications. * Advanced knowledge in machine component specification. * Minimum of 4 years of experience in industrial production processes. **Preferred Candidates Should Have:** * CREA registration required. *Note: This position requires the candidate to work on-site five days per week.* **Interested in the challenge and want to grow your career at Caterpillar?
