We currently have 1 **open internship position**, intended for students interested in innovation, maker culture, and digital fabrication. ### **About the FabLab** The **FabLab Facens** is a dedicated space for prototyping and innovation, offering comprehensive infrastructure for developing academic, industrial, and social projects. We feature modern equipment, including 3D printers, laser cutters, and CNC milling machines, enabling experimentation and creation of innovative solutions. **Responsibilities and Duties** **Internship Objective** ----------------------- Support FabLab operations by contributing to project development, workshops, and initiatives focused on **maker culture**, digital fabrication, and innovation, under technical supervision and user support. **Internship Activities** ------------------------- * Assist in the **development and execution of activities, workshops, and projects**, according to the area of expertise (electronics, programming, drawing, etc.); * Develop **2D and 3D models** for project fabrication using **3D printers, laser cutting machines, and CNC machines**; * Assist in **laboratory maintenance**, supporting technicians in monitoring and performing **preventive maintenance** on equipment; * Monitor ongoing projects, providing basic technical support; * Answer questions and **guide users** regarding the operation of laboratory machines and tools; * Accompany clients/users during equipment usage; * Support and, when necessary, **deliver introductory FabLab training sessions**; * Perform other related duties. **Requirements and Qualifications** **Requirements** -------------- * Currently enrolled in **Engineering, Architecture, or Technology programs** (fields related to technology, digital fabrication, electronics, mechanics, programming, etc.); * **Students from the 1st semester onward are welcome**; * Interest in innovation, technology, and maker culture; * Availability to work during one of the specified time slots. * Must be available for internship: ### **Available Schedule** * **3:00 PM to 10:00 PM** **Preferred Qualifications** ---------------- * Basic knowledge in: * **2D and 3D modeling**; * 3D printing, laser cutting, or CNC machining; * Electronics, programming, or technical drawing; * Strong communication skills for guiding users; * Proactivity and organizational skills. **Additional Information** Internship stipend \+ Benefits: Life insurance \+ transportation allowance \+ Gympass \+ Auster Personal Support Program \+ SESC FACENS is a Smart Campus—a patented innovative concept of an intelligent campus.
