**Job Description**
* Review occurrences reported in the bale press report prepared by the previous shift operator, to obtain information on production progress and machinery operation;
* Check the operation of beaters, bale press, and fans; adjust equipment as needed and verbally inform the Production Supervisor when repairs are required;
* Check the hydraulic pump oil level by observing the piston collar for signs of oil leakage; if leakage persists, verbally inform the Production Supervisor of the issue; (the lubricator refills the oil)
* Inspect and clean the return outlet of the beaters to prevent clogging caused by seed moisture during beater operation;
* Inspect and clean the red dust box located beneath the beaters to ensure machine preservation and sector organization;
* Check the operation of motors, fans, beaters, and balloons, observe their performance, and report possible repairs or maintenance needs to the Production Supervisor;
* Operate the bale press: start the machine and monitor weight and operation via ammeter readings and signaling; move the crate to the piston press where bales are compressed and wire-tied; label each bale with its number, shift identification, and company brand;
* Control product quality through visual inspections and segregate defective bales for reprocessing;
* Guide and supervise operational assistants in performing daily tasks related to equipment and sector organization and maintenance;
* Record sample collection at scheduled times according to the daily linter production report and deliver samples to the oil laboratory at the end of the shift; (twice per day)
* Complete and submit the daily bale press production report, documenting shift occurrences to indicate total production volume and number of defective bales;
* Maintain sector cleanliness by implementing the 5S methodology daily;
