Job Summary: The Facilities Maintenance Assistant supports the conservation of facilities by performing preventive maintenance and simple corrective repairs on electrical systems, plumbing, painting, and structures. Handles basic electrical and plumbing services, painting, and structural repairs The **Facilities Maintenance Assistant** is responsible for supporting the conservation and proper functioning of company facilities by carrying out preventive maintenance activities and minor corrective repairs. They perform simple electrical tasks such as replacing light bulbs, outlets, and circuit breakers, and inspecting facility systems to identify and report more complex malfunctions. They also execute basic plumbing repairs, including unclogging drains and fixing leaks, as well as maintaining water filters and water tanks. They perform touch-up painting, repair walls and floors, replace coverings, adjust doors and windows, and assist in assembling and moving equipment. The professional conducts periodic building inspections, supervises service providers, ensures safety in maintenance areas, and keeps tools and materials organized. They are also responsible for managing spare parts inventory and recording all activities in work orders.
