Job Summary: Excavator operator responsible for operating equipment of various sizes on earthwork, mining, and construction projects, with emphasis on safety and preventive maintenance. Key Highlights: 1. Operating excavators on various types of construction sites 2. Performing basic preventive maintenance and daily equipment inspections 3. Focusing on operational safety and compliance with regulations #### **Responsibilities** * Operating excavators of various sizes (hydraulic, dragline, etc.) on earthwork, mining, civil construction, and sanitation projects. * Performing excavation, filling, grading, rock breaking, and material loading according to project specifications. * Conducting basic preventive maintenance on equipment, such as checking oil, water, fuel levels, and lubricating critical points. * Inspecting the machine daily before operations begin, identifying and reporting any anomalies or repair needs. * Strictly adhering to occupational safety regulations, using Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), and ensuring team and environmental safety. * Monitoring fuel consumption and recording machine operating hours, completing logbooks and production reports. * Maneuvering the excavator in confined spaces and uneven terrain, demonstrating precision and dexterity to prevent accidents and damage. #### **Requirements** * Completed elementary education. * Valid Brazilian National Driver's License (CNH) category D or E. * Excavator Operator training certificate with a minimum duration of 80 hours. * Proven experience (minimum 3 years) operating hydraulic excavators at construction sites or mining operations. * Solid knowledge of basic mechanical and electrical components of excavators. * Familiarity with reading engineering drawings and blueprints to execute tasks. * Knowledge of safety regulations for heavy machinery operation (NR\-11, NR\-12\). #### **Skills** * Hydraulic Excavator Operation * Basic Preventive Maintenance * Reading Engineering Drawings * Operational Safety * Fuel Management * Equipment Inspection * Precise Maneuvering * Working on Uneven Terrain * Radio Communication ### **Employment Type:** CLT ### **Benefits:** Meal Voucher, Performance Bonus, Health Insurance, Dental Insurance, Wellhub \- Formerly Gympass, Life Insurance, Transportation Allowance/Reimbursement, Accommodation, On-site Meals ### **Department:** OPERATIONAL
