Responsible for equipment maintenance and preservation **Position:** Senior Maintenance Excavator Operator **Department:** Mining / Operations **Level:** Senior **Job Mission** ------------------- Operate excavators in mining extraction and support activities, ensuring productivity, operational safety, and quality, while contributing to equipment preservation and operational efficiency. **Main Responsibilities** -------------------------- * Load trucks and perform soil and ore movement. * Excavate trenches, ditches, and storm drains according to planning. * Execute material removal from embankments and form benches. * Separate ore from waste rock. * Ensure cleanliness and organization of operational areas. * Inspect accessory conditions and report service incidents. * Perform machine checklists and verify fluid levels (oil, fuel, water). * Operate within safety limits and internal standards. **Responsibilities** --------------------- * Operate safely, productively, and responsibly. * Maintain and preserve the excavator in proper working condition. * Proactively address potential risk situations. * Report irregularities or equipment failures. * Safeguard operational integrity and company assets. **Authorities** --------------- * Make operational decisions within the scope of the role. * Request materials from the warehouse. * Warn colleagues about hazardous situations. * Request machine shutdown for inspection/maintenance in critical cases. **Basic Requirements** ---------------------- * Education: Elementary school. * Additional Training: Loader operation, forklift operation, backhoe operation. * Experience: Minimum 2 years in the role. **Desirable Requirements** ------------------------- * Education: High school. * Additional Training: Driver's license, First Aid, specialized training in heavy machinery operation. * Experience: 5 years in the role. **Technical Competencies** ------------------------- * Excavator and heavy machinery operation. * Basic understanding of terrain slope and topography. * Knowledge of basic preventive maintenance. * Ability to identify mechanical and operational failures. **Behavioral Competencies** -------------------------------- * Good motor coordination and directional awareness. * Attention, caution, and focus on safety. * Responsibility and discipline. * Good interpersonal skills. * Proactivity and initiative. **✅** **Benefits** * **️** **Group Life Insurance** * **Accommodation (Provided Lodging)** * **Company-provided Shuttle Transportation** * **️** **On-site Restaurant (Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner)** **Employment Type** **CLT (Permanent)** * **Working Hours** **Monday to Friday, from 7:00 AM to 12:00 PM and from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM**
