Job Summary: A professional responsible for handling baggage and cargo at airports, ensuring safety and efficiency of ground operations, with attention to detail and organization. Key Highlights: 1. Inspection and supervision of packaging for flight safety Description: * Completed high school education; * Good interpersonal communication skills; * Analytical ability in assessing situations; * Stress resistance; Physical requirements include broad and fine motor coordination, dexterity, articulation of upper and lower limbs, bipedal posture for performing job tasks, trunk rotation and flexion, physical exertion, and ambulation throughout the entire operational area. Sensory requirements include visual acuity for moving baggage from conveyor belts to transport equipment, pavement navigation, aircraft loading and unloading with luggage and cargo, signaling around the flight being serviced, floor inspection and scanning to collect fallen objects, and auditory perception for identifying audible signals from equipment and machinery on the ramp. Neuropsychological requirements include attention, concentration, organizational skills, data interpretation, and initiative in resolving causal situations. * Safeguard aircraft during arrivals and departures; * Verify and safeguard baggage and cargo labels; * Place and remove wheel chocks and cones on aircraft according to the Client’s Manual or dnata’s MGO; * Perform segregation of baggage and cargo volumes in airport sorting areas by reading identification labels (with or without technological assistance), aiming to load them into storage devices (carts and/or ULDs) for the correct flights; * Stow baggage and cargo in aircraft holds following rules and procedures outlined in the MGO, including special handling recommendations (fragile, dangerous, live animals, perishable items); * Unload baggage and cargo by reading volume identification labels and place them at designated locations (baggage reclaim carousels); * Segregate baggage and cargo during aircraft unloading to facilitate interline connections by reading volume identification labels; * Inspect and supervise baggage and cargo packaging to verify proper suitability for transportation, ensuring flight and handler safety; * Correctly handle and allocate baggage and cargo within aircraft holds, observing internal restraint and hold height safety limits; * Unload wheelchairs or baby strollers and place them at designated locations; * Perform equipment marshalling during coupling procedures with aircraft to prevent fuselage collisions; * Service aircraft within established timeframes per service type and airport classification; * Conduct checklists on non-motorized equipment to ensure operational safety and report equipment requiring repairs to the GSE Technical maintenance team; * Report any equipment irregularities occurring during operations to supervisors. 2512070202191574703
