The Vetta Team understands the importance of teamwork and collaboration in delivering results that span the globe — while simultaneously **transforming each individual’s career.** **If you want to share your perspective on building a more sustainable world, join the Vetta Team!** **Responsibilities and Duties** **In this team, you will have the opportunity to:** * Develop, maintain, and optimize stored procedures used in analytical processes and data integrations for BI systems. * Create high-performance SQL queries to support reports, KPIs, and management dashboards. * Implement and maintain ETL processes and data loading routines. * Collaborate closely with BI and business teams to understand requirements and deliver data for decision-making, analyzing scenarios and proposing technical solutions. * Perform analysis and resolution of database query and process performance issues. * Ensure quality, integrity, and consistency of information provided in analytical environments. * Support evolution, maintenance, issue resolution, and continuous improvement of BI-related database routines. **Requirements and Qualifications** **What we expect from you for this position:** * SQL Server: Solid experience in administration and development on Microsoft SQL Server platform and use of SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS). * Advanced T-SQL: Proficiency in developing and optimizing complex queries, including data manipulation using SELECT, INSERT, UPDATE, and DELETE. * Stored Procedures and Functions: Experience in developing, maintaining, and optimizing stored procedures, scalar functions, and table-valued functions for analytical processes and data integration. * Data Modeling: Knowledge of dimensional modeling for BI and data warehouse environments, including Star Schema and Snowflake Schema. * ETL (Extract, Transform, Load): Hands-on experience with data extraction, transformation, and loading processes, ensuring data integrity, performance, and reliability. * Data and File Handling: Experience importing, exporting, and processing CSV, XLS, TXT, and other file formats commonly used in data integrations. * Performance and Tuning: Knowledge of database performance optimization, including execution plan analysis, index creation, partitioning, and query tuning. * Business Intelligence (BI): Conceptual understanding of BI solution architecture and operation, dashboards, and analytical processes. * Version Control and Best Practices: Experience with technical documentation, SQL code standardization, and SQL development best practices. **Additional Information** **OUR BENEFITS:** As a people-focused company, we consistently strive to value our team.
