Company Overview: If technology exists for you to improve life's journey, it does so for our team too: Your Journey, Our Path. We believe in technology that connects talented people with meaningful work and embraces diversity to create and share even the paths we (still!) don’t yet know. We work to generate value—not only for our users but, above all, for the communities we serve and society as a whole—by improving people’s lives through services that simplify daily routines—whether mobility and delivery services (99) or digital payments (99Pay). To simplify the lives of millions of people every day, since 2018 we have been part of DiDi Global Inc., the world’s largest ride-hailing and transportation technology platform. We pioneered innovative solutions born in Brazil that scale globally to deliver positive impact across more than 12 countries where DiDi operates. These innovations span sustainability, safety, artificial intelligence, financial markets, and beyond. Whether building projects from scratch or refining existing solutions, we embrace challenges that give us butterflies—and that’s why we work at a fast pace, grounded in respect, collaboration, and good humor. On this journey, we also grow stronger through diverse experiences and perspectives, learning together, failing fast, and adjusting our path to build solutions that yield ever-better results. \#LI\-Hybrid Team Overview: Analyze large-scale trip, demand, and supply datasets to help identify pricing opportunities and estimate potential impacts, supporting A/B test design and revenue or conversion uplift forecasting. Support the development and maintenance of dynamic pricing models (e.g., *surge*, time-based, and distance/time fare components) in collaboration with Data Science and Engineering, ensuring models meet performance and scalability requirements. Execute and monitor experiments to evaluate pricing levers, track defined success metrics, and provide data-driven recommendations to Product and Operations stakeholders. Monitor marketplace health via dashboards and reports; help identify anomalies and support mitigation actions to protect supply-demand balance and service levels during peak events. Prepare pricing analyses, *playbooks*, and scenario simulations for regional business partners, translating model outputs into clear, actionable *insights* aligned with local regulations and commercial objectives. Work with Finance and Commercial teams to analyze new pricing initiatives, promotional strategies, and incentive structures, helping quantify revenue impact and elasticity effects over time. Role Responsibilities: * Analyze demand, supply, and user behavior data to formulate pricing adjustment recommendations aimed at increasing average revenue per trip by at least X% across assigned regions over quarterly cycles. * Build and maintain weekly reports and dashboards monitoring price elasticity, acceptance rates, and promotion impact, ensuring operational visibility for stakeholders. * Collaborate with Product Managers and Engineers to translate pricing hypotheses into A/B tests, defining success metrics and conducting statistical analysis of results. * Implement market segmentation (by city, time of day, and user profile) and propose differentiated pricing rules to reduce cancellations and optimize fleet utilization. * Model revenue scenarios and simulate impacts of tariff changes and promotional campaigns to support commercial and regional growth decisions. * Review and validate data inputs and key indicators (e.g., wait time, demand surge) to ensure pricing models reflect real-world marketplace conditions. * Support cross-functional initiatives on driver incentive strategies and customer promotions, evaluating ROI and financial sustainability of such initiatives. Role Qualifications: * Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, Business Administration, or related fields is preferred; however, candidates with proven analytical experience may also be considered. * Technical skills: Advanced Excel proficiency and SQL experience for data extraction and manipulation; familiarity with visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) and analytical languages like Python/R is preferred. * Market knowledge: Understanding of dynamic pricing models, demand elasticity, and marketplace behavior in mobility or delivery contexts. * Analytical experience: Prior experience (internship or junior role) in data analysis, pricing, or business intelligence, with measurable outcomes such as revenue optimization or churn reduction. * Communication and influence: Ability to translate complex analyses into clear recommendations for Product, Operations, and leadership teams, including skill in negotiating priorities. * Mindset and attitude: Proactive, metric-driven, problem-solving profile with curiosity to rapidly test hypotheses and learn from experiments. * Organization and ethics: Ability to manage multiple demands in a large-scale environment while maintaining rigorous data quality standards and alignment with DiDi’s commercial policies. EEO Statement: * We Create Value for Users — We exist to do what’s best for our users and innovate to stay ahead. We seek balance among experience, efficiency, and growth—with safety always our top priority. * We Are Data-Guided — We believe in data-driven decision-making. Through numbers, we navigate our business strategically. * We Are Owners and Results-Focused — We go beyond personal interests to focus on what’s best for DiDi. We always deliver on our commitments and pursue excellence in execution—setting high standards and giving our best in everything we do. * We Always Build Together — Together, we are stronger. We keep open minds and row with respect, empathy, and trust. We listen to everyone before making decisions—and once decided, we deliver collectively, even if we disagree. * We Are Integrous — Integrity is our foundation—the line we never cross. We communicate honestly and transparently, listen to all voices, and always do what’s right. * We Develop Each Other — Our growth comes from constantly stepping outside our comfort zones. We accept challenges, surpass ourselves, and strive for excellence in all we do. From day one, we grow and help those around us grow too—raising our collective bar. * We Work with Passion & Fun — We are utterly passionate about what we do. We maintain a light, optimistic spirit, energizing our environment with positivity. We are resilient, unafraid of challenges, and always celebrate our successes. * We Live Diversity — For us, the heart of diversity is inclusion, equity, and respect. We believe diversity fosters a more creative and energetic environment—so we celebrate differences, and everyone here can truly be themselves. **Diversity and Inclusion** Diversity is not a future vision or an aspiration—it is a non-negotiable value of who we are today. We live inclusion, plurality, and respect—and to do so, we rely on governance from our Diversity Committee, which works alongside HR, our leadership, and identity groups—99Adapta, 99Afro, 99Cores, 99Mulheres, and 99Famílias. This is our written journey—one still with much ground left to cover.
