Description

Perform the separation and dispensing of materials and prescribed or requisitioned medications, ensuring that patient care is delivered appropriately. **Responsibilities and duties** * Receive, inspect, and store items in accordance with current regulations; * Fractionate and label; * Perform separation and verification of materials and prescribed/requisitioned medications as requested; * Provide counter services upon manual or system-based requisition; * Monitor inventory levels of materials and medications, verifying expiration dates, batch numbers, organization, and environmental cleanliness; * Alert when a specific material or medication reaches the pre-determined minimum stock level; * Fractionate medications according to demand; * Dispense medications and materials to requesting units, ensuring supply safety; * Execute inventory write-offs, returns, and transfers of medications and materials to maintain accurate and up-to-date stock records; * Monitor temperature conditions for thermolabile medications and the environment; * Provide data to the immediate supervisor for indicator consolidation; * Record incidents in the shift logbook; * Carry out related activities as outlined in the procedures manual. **Exclusive activities – High-Cost Pharmacy** * Register users and prescriptions in the MEDEX system; * Conduct user triage services; * Assemble flyers. **Exclusive activities – Outpatient Clinics and High-Cost Pharmacy** * Receive medications and materials by verifying invoices, supply orders, and purchase commitment notes, as validated by the immediate supervisor. * Store and record movements of received medications and materials. **Requirements and qualifications** * Completed high school education; * Computer literacy; * Prior experience in the role is desirable. **Additional information** 12x36 work schedule from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM The **SPDM** \- Paulista Association for the Development of Medicine is a non-profit civil association of philanthropic nature, recognized as being of federal, state, and municipal public utility at its headquarters, respectively by Decrees No. 57\.925, dated 03/04/1966; No. 40\.103, dated 05/17/1962; and No. 8\.911, dated 07/30/1970\. On February 23, 1991, the Mogi das Cruzes Specialty Outpatient Clinic and Emergency Department was renamed the Luzia de Pinho Melo Clinical Hospital on August 27, 1991, in honor of the mother of former mayor Father Melo.
