




**Inventory Assistant / Warehouse Keeper (Food and Beverage)** ---------------------------------------------------------- Restaurant ### **Job Description** Responsible for controlling, organizing, and storing food, beverages, supplies, and cleaning materials, ensuring compliance with sanitary regulations, proper product rotation, and up-to-date inventory records. ### **Responsibilities** * Receiving and inspecting goods. * Verifying invoices, purchase orders, and expiration dates. * Checking product quality and integrity. * Recording incoming and outgoing goods (via system or spreadsheets). * Organizing dry storage, refrigerated chambers, freezers, and pantries. * Storing items in accordance with Good Storage Practices and health surveillance regulations. * Applying the FIFO (First-In, First-Out) method. * Labeling products with receipt date and expiration date. * Monitoring minimum stock levels and requesting replenishment. * Picking supplies for kitchen, bar, and other departments. * Conducting periodic inventory counts. * Tracking losses, damages, and expired items. * Assisting in proper disposal of unsuitable products. * Maintaining cleanliness, organization, and hygiene in storage areas. * Supporting events and periods of higher demand. ### **Accountabilities** * Ensuring quality and safety of stored food. * Preventing waste and losses due to expiration. * Ensuring proper product rotation. * Keeping inventory records updated. * Complying with hygiene, food safety, and occupational safety standards. * Maintaining equipment and facilities. * Reporting irregularities to management or kitchen leadership. ### **Requirements** * Completed elementary or high school education. * Prior experience in inventory, warehouse operations, restaurants, or similar areas. * Basic knowledge of inventory control and proper storage practices. * Availability for flexible working hours. ### **Competencies** * Organization and attention to detail. * Responsibility and commitment. * Agility and sense of urgency. * Teamwork. * Discipline in adhering to regulations. * Proactivity. ### **Preferred Qualifications** * Certification in Good Food Handling Practices. * Prior experience in the food and beverage industry. ### **Employment Type** * **CLT (Consolidated Labor Laws)** Minimum Education Level: Technical Course
