We are looking for professionals with potential to join our team—individuals who are committed and engaged in maintaining and improving the quality of our services in alignment with the company’s organizational culture. **Responsibilities and Duties** * Participate in departmental planning and production according to the sales demand for each product, maintaining the defined stock mix from store opening to closing; * Produce butcher department food items based on required quantities versus those with highest turnover, weighing fabricated products and placing them on the sales counter, ensuring they remain stocked and available to customers per assessed quantities; * Fulfill all customer requests, strictly adhering to specifications for each order—including specialty, processing type (ground, steak, or cut), and requested quantity; * Trim cuts as needed, performing daily menu-based pre-preparation using appropriate equipment and techniques; * Inspect received meat cuts to verify conformity with purchase orders, confirming quality and quantity; * Supervise an Assistant in receiving and storing meat cuts, performing simple cuts, serving customers, and cleaning the area; * Package meats individually, manually or using vacuum packaging machines, and place them on trays for customer access; * Continuously monitor the quality of meats displayed on the counter, immediately reporting any abnormalities to the butcher department supervisor; * Contribute to reducing departmental costs—whether through raw material waste or excessive production—by observing good product handling practices; * Produce sufficient quantities to avoid stockouts in the sales area, increasing production volume for promotional items; * Verify product expiration dates to confirm validity periods for items displayed in the sales area, removing any items past their use-by date; * Monitor opened raw materials and ensure proper labeling, including original product expiry date, opening date, and number of days remaining for usage; * Report irregularities found in merchandise or equipment, escalating issues for appropriate corrective actions to prevent product deterioration; * Maintain order and hygiene in the workplace and department storage area, washing counters, utensils, etc., as needed; * Ensure customer satisfaction and service quality through: prompt service; courteous interaction; adherence to internal policies; personal cleanliness; clear and accurate communication; * Operate equipment correctly to prevent accidents; * Keep the department clean and organized per standards set by the company and health surveillance authorities; * Perform other duties related to this role as directed by the immediate or functional supervisor. **Requirements and Qualifications** * **Minimum Education:** Completed Elementary School (Level I); * **Gender:** Female/Male * **Preferred Education:** Completed High School; * **Experience:** Minimum 6 months * **Knowledge:** Customer service experience; prior experience in a butcher department. **Additional Information** * Salary + Transportation Allowance + 20% Hazard Pay + Shopping Voucher (BRL 200.00) * PRV (Monthly Variable Remuneration Plan based on productivity against established targets) Founded in 1987 by entrepreneur José Tatico, the Tatico Supermarkets chain introduced itself to consumers with a key differentiator: offering a wide variety of quality brands and products at low prices every day.
