Internal Auditor certification is a plus.** * **Solid knowledge of applicable Mexican legislation and regulations regarding safety, occupational health, and environment (STPS, SEMARNAT, Civil Protection, among others).** * **Experience in risk management, incident investigation, and development of action plans.** * **Excellent communication skills (verbal and written), with ability to train, negotiate, and deliver clear reports.** * **Proficiency in Office software, Google applications, and event-tracking and action-plan software.** * **If foreign, valid work permit for Mexico.** * **As this is a local position, willingness to work in the advertised city; if from outside the area, relocation at own expense.** **Your key responsibilities include:** * **Actively collaborate in the implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the ISO 9001 (Quality) and ISO 14001 (Environment) Management Systems.** * **Manage and update key system documentation (procedures, instructions, records) and ensure its effective dissemination and understanding across all personnel.** * **Ensure that the SHEQ Plan and all departmental programs, activities, and responsibilities are executed efficiently at the Terminal.** * **Proactively control and minimize risks at the Terminal, ensuring appropriate management and timely updates of risk analyses for all operations and equipment.** * **Rigorously supervise contractor compliance with all SHEQ requirements—from selection through execution of their activities.** * **Supervise and execute equipment lockouts in collaboration with other departments, ensuring safety during all interventions.** * **Manage the Terminal’s fire protection system operations, including regular inspections and coordination of emergency equipment maintenance.** * **Ensure strict compliance with all identified legal requirements related to SHEQ by periodically verifying Terminal-specific compliance matrices.** * **Collaborate on managing the annual SHEQ and SHEQ- and sustainability-related CAPEX budgets, seeking efficiencies and sustainable improvement opportunities.** * **Coordinate with area managers to execute emergency drills according to the annual program.** **Do you want to start as a SHEQ Supervisor at Vopak?** **Are you ready to share your vision and help Vopak deliver excellent service to our customers?
