




Job Summary: Responsible for in-person and telephone patient reception, appointment and registration management, and technical and operational support for ophthalmological services, ensuring humane and high-quality care. Key Highlights: 1. Patient reception and care with a focus on ophthalmology. 2. Technical and operational support for ophthalmological examinations and procedures. 3. Scheduling and management of appointments, registrations, and medical-hospital supplies. Responsible for in-person and telephone reception of patients, providing information, managing appointments and registrations, and delivering technical and operational support during ophthalmological consultations. Works directly at the front desk, guiding patients, performing pre-consultation examinations, monitoring pupil dilation, and organizing medical equipment and supplies—ensuring humane, efficient, and high-quality service. **Responsibilities:** * In-person, telephone, and digital-channel patient reception. * Receive, welcome, guide, and accompany patients throughout the entire care process. * Perform checklists, verify documents, register patients, and update electronic health records and systems. * Schedule, reschedule, and organize consultations, follow-up visits, examinations, and physicians’ calendars. * Inform patients about examinations, procedures, health insurance plans, referral forms, authorizations, and other necessary information. * Direct patients to consultation rooms and examination rooms according to medical scheduling. * Perform pre-consultation and pre-surgical ophthalmological examinations, as trained and per internal protocols. * Monitor pupil dilation processes, repeat examinations when required, and provide support during patient consultations. * Measure eyeglass prescriptions using specialized equipment and advise patients on usage. * Provide information regarding contact lenses, pricing, payment methods, and delivery timelines. * Request, replenish, organize, and label medical-hospital supplies and eye drops from the pharmacy. * Maintain cleanliness and proper condition of equipment, consultation rooms, and examination rooms per sanitary surveillance regulations. * Monitor personnel entry and exit to ensure facility security and organization. * Perform basic administrative tasks related to the department. * Demonstrate ethical, courteous, and professional conduct, collaborate with the team, and participate in training programs. * Perform other duties inherent to the role. **Preferred Qualifications:** Experience in reception, customer service, and/or healthcare—especially in ophthalmological clinics. **Preferred Qualifications:** Experience in healthcare and reception. **Work Schedule:** Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM. **Benefits:** * Transportation Allowance * Meal Allowance of BRL 25.00 per workday * Health and dental plan (Unimed) – enrollment available after 3 months * Araújo Pharmacy network – enrollment available after 3 months * Wellhub (Gympass) – wellness program * Optum – psychological, legal, social, financial, and nutritional support.
