Job Summary: The psychologist will assess emotional, behavioral, and cognitive aspects, establish treatment goals, apply psychotherapeutic techniques, and provide emotional support to patients and their families. Assess emotional, behavioral, and cognitive aspects Assess the patient's emotional, behavioral, and cognitive aspects; establish psychological treatment goals using psychotherapeutic techniques; and provide emotional support to patients and their families to minimize emotional distress and stimulate cognitive deficits. **Responsibilities and Duties** * Advise patients, family members, and caregivers on the importance of treatment, potential investments, difficulties, diagnoses, and sequelae; * Provide emotional support to patients and their families; * Be familiar with psychological assessment tools; * Be knowledgeable about diagnoses / diseases treated at the facility; * Maintain each patient's attendance record, updating\-it during every session to track attendance and absences for subsequent statistical analysis; * Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss clinical cases and enhance patient treatment outcomes and care strategies; * Participate in scientific meetings where each professional presents topics for discussion and team development; * Conduct occupational gymnastics for approximately 15 minutes per session in the department, scheduled according to team availability without disrupting patient care; * Mandatory documentation of evaluation and progress notes in the patient's medical record after each consultation (mandatory use of stamp at the end of the evaluation or progress note); * Collect data using pre\-established protocols to update and maintain departmental quality indicators; * Follow departmental standards and routines (see UR Manual); * Perform other duties as required or requested by supervisors. **Requirements and Qualifications** * Completed undergraduate degree in Psychology; * Postgraduate studies in the field of practice are desirable; * Active CRP (Psychology Registration Council) license; **Additional Information** * Workload: 150 hours/month; * Working Hours: Monday through Saturday, from 08:00 to 14:00, with a 15-minute break; * Shift Schedule: 5 days on, 2 days off; * On\-site cafeteria; * Meal Allowance; * Transportation Allowance; * 50% discount at partner universities; * SESC membership benefits; * Childcare assistance; **SPDM** \- Paulista Association for the Development of Medicine is a non\-profit civil association of philanthropic nature, recognized as being of federal, state, and municipal public utility, respectively by Decrees No. 57\.925, dated 03/04/1966; No. 40\.103, dated 05/17/1962; and No. 8\.911, dated 07/30/1970\.
