An environment that values collaboration, creativity, and continuous improvement An automotive industry company located in the Metropolitan Region of Porto Alegre is seeking a Machining Process Analyst. The Machining Process Analyst is responsible for developing, optimizing, and sustaining Viemar product machining processes, ensuring safety, repeatability, efficiency, and quality. The role requires analytical and practical engagement, connecting methods, fixtures, automation, and data to enhance factory performance and reduce transformation costs. We seek an innovative and investigative professional capable of researching, testing, and implementing new technologies, tools, and methods to improve technical and production performance in machining. **Responsibilities and Duties** * Program equipment following engineering procedures; * Develop and update technical documentation (process sheets, parameters, checklists, TPOs, and ITs); * Design/develop fixtures and tools; * Support implementation of new processes, fixtures, and tools; * Provide technical support to production through troubleshooting activities; * Analyze process indicators such as OEE, scrap rate, and cycle times; * Propose and implement improvement actions based on process data; * Evaluate effectiveness of implemented actions by measuring impact on flow indicators; * Identify bottlenecks and improvement opportunities within the production flow; * Apply methodologies such as line balancing, Yamazumi, time studies, and flow analysis; **Requirements and Qualifications** **Expected Deliverables:** * Optimized, stable, standardized, and documented processes; * Increased productivity and operational efficiency; * Production autonomy enabled by clear and updated standards; * Integration with automation/digitalization within the scope of machining; * Dissemination of technical knowledge through reports and revised standards. **Requirements and Qualifications:** * Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, or related fields; * Six Sigma certification; * Experience in machining processes; * Proficiency in Solidworks (2D/3D); * Experience in CNC programming; * Knowledge of TOC, TPS, FMEA, OEE, Capability, MASP, TOC, Yamazumi, NRs 12 and 17; * Experience with automation, robotics, or cell integration is a plus; **Expected Profile/Behavior:** * Analytical and experimental thinking; * Ability to read and analyze process data (Power BI, Excel, Python, Minitab); * Interest in new technologies and smart manufacturing solutions; * Autonomy, curiosity, and focus on concrete technical results; * Adaptability; * Strong communication skills; * Proactivity; * Teamwork capability; * Ownership mindset and accountability for the process. **Additional Information** **Working Hours: Monday to Friday, from 7:30 AM to 5:03 PM.** **Benefits:** * On-site cafeteria; * Life insurance; * Medical assistance (Unimed); * Dental assistance. #### **A FORCE IN MOTION** #### **The largest Latin American manufacturer of suspension, steering, and braking components for light vehicles.** #### **Our focus is on improving performance by pursuing operational excellence, competitiveness, profitability, and high performance—driven by safety, quality, continuous improvement, process innovation, and supported by an agile and structured methodology.** #### **To achieve these objectives—with our customers at the core—our people have developed the Viemar Way, grounded in our strong core values.** #### **We believe our greatest asset is our people.
