Participation in continuous improvement initiatives **Job Description** **This position is for on-site work in Monte Alto, SP.** **Who will you work with?** Process Engineering – A team responsible for developing and monitoring the company’s manufacturing processes. **How will you make a difference?** As a member of the Process Engineering team, you will primarily develop, review, and control process standards according to customer requirements. You will also monitor tryouts for new items and support defining the optimal process for each product. Additionally, you will identify and resolve issues related to production processes, proposing technical solutions and improvements that contribute to operational stability. Your role will further include participation in continuous improvement initiatives, aiming to optimize methods, reduce waste, and enhance overall process performance—thus supporting Wabtec’s sustainable growth. **What do we want to know about you?** * Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Production Engineering, or a Technology degree in Industrial Production * Knowledge of technical drawing reading and interpretation * Knowledge of SolidWorks * Familiarity with machining processes is desirable * Driver’s license (Category B) **What will your day-to-day look like?** * Defining machining tools to meet technical specifications outlined in drawings * Contributing to defining product fixturing concepts * Conducting root cause analysis for process-related issues * Preparing technical specification documentation for each process stage * Driving continuous improvement of the company’s existing processes **Benefits:** At Wabtec, people come first.
