Job Summary: We are seeking a Veterinary Medicine Preceptor with a focus on soft tissue surgery to provide clinical-surgical care for small animals, conducting the entire surgical process with excellence. Technically develop students, promoting safe hands-on learning We are looking for a **Veterinary Medicine Preceptor** with a focus on **soft tissue surgery**, to work in the clinical\-surgical care of small animals, performing elective and corrective procedures with technical excellence and safety. The professional will be responsible for managing the entire surgical process—from pre\-operative assessment through post\-operative follow\-up—ensuring animal welfare and high\-quality care. **Responsibilities and Duties** * Supervise and guide students during practical classes and operating room activities; * Supervise surgical procedures (elective and/or more complex, according to students’ skill levels); * Assist in the technical development of students, promoting safe hands-on learning; * Conduct clinical consultations and evaluations with surgical indications; * Perform soft tissue surgeries (e.g., ovariohysterectomy, mastectomy, enterotomies, cystotomies, among others); * Develop anesthetic protocols jointly with the team (where applicable); * Monitor post\-operative recovery and patient progress; * Ensure compliance with biosafety and asepsis standards; * Properly document medical records and clinical progress; * Collaborate integrally with the clinical and support teams. **Requirements and Qualifications** * Completed undergraduate degree in Veterinary Medicine; * Active registration with CRMV; * Teaching or internship supervision experience is desirable; * Professional experience in the surgical field, etc.; * Availability to work according to the practical schedule. **Additional Information** * Availability to work in Nova Iguaçu from Monday to Friday; * Employment Type: CLT \- On\-site.
