Opportunity for continuous professional development **Job Description and Responsibilities:** **Working Hours:** Monday to Friday — 09:00 to 18:00 + 1-hour lunch break; Biweekly Saturdays — 08:00 to 13:00 **Level:** Operational **Employment Type:** Permanent — CLT **Job Description:** Execute capsule formulation and other pharmaceutical compounding steps with quality, precision, and productivity, ensuring compliance with Good Pharmaceutical Compounding Practices (GPCP), formulation safety, and adherence to the pharmacy’s standard operating procedures (SOPs). **Key Responsibilities** **Pharmaceutical Compounding Execution** * Perform manual or semi-automatic capsule filling according to established procedures. * Carry out compounding of solid, semisolid, and liquid formulations per weighing sheets and medical prescriptions. * Strictly follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) specific to each pharmaceutical dosage form. * Verify weighing sheets, labels, and prescriptions prior to initiating compounding. * Ensure accuracy and quality throughout all compounding steps. **Hygiene, Safety, and Gowning** * Complete full gowning in the gowning room per company regulations. * Correctly use personal protective equipment (PPE), including a clean lab coat, facial mask covering nose and mouth, hairnet fully containing hair, and dedicated footwear for technical areas only. * Perform appropriate disinfection of utensils and equipment before compounding. * Maintain a clean, organized workspace in compliance with hygiene protocols. **Quality Control and Formulation Safety** * Ensure integrity and safety of compounded formulations throughout the entire production process. * Segregate and document rejected, failed, or expired products per established procedures. * Monitor expiration dates of raw materials and compounded products, adhering to the FIFO (First Expired, First Out) system. * Immediately report any risk conditions related to products, equipment, environment, or personnel to supervisors. **Laboratory Organization and Material Control** * Assist in receiving, inspecting, and storing raw materials and packaging per the relevant SOP. * Monitor stock levels of laboratory consumables and report replenishment needs to the responsible person. * Assist in organizing raw materials, utensils, and production equipment. **Laboratory Records and Controls** * Complete required documentation related to the compounding process. * Maintain up-to-date records for temperature, humidity, and equipment calibration. * Ensure traceability of all produced formulations. **Professional Development** * Participate in technical and operational training provided by the pharmacy. * Pursue continuous improvement of skills essential to the role. **Requirements:** **Education** * Completed high school education. * Technical course in Pharmacy or ongoing Pharmacy studies will be considered a plus. **Experience** * Prior experience in compounding pharmacies or magistral laboratories is desirable. * Experience in capsule formulation and compounding processes will be considered a plus. **Desired Technical Knowledge** * Familiarity with Good Pharmaceutical Compounding Practices (GPCP). * Basic knowledge of pharmaceutical dosage forms. * Understanding of quality control and product traceability principles. **Preferred Qualifications** * Experience in compounding pharmacies. * Technical certification in Pharmacy. * Knowledge of manual or semi-automatic capsule filling. **Benefits:** Internal benefits, Performance bonus, Meal voucher, Transportation voucher
