




Job Summary: Nurse responsible for providing comprehensive patient care from admission to discharge, with a focus on neonatology, ensuring safety and quality. Key Highlights: 1. Focus on comprehensive care for patients and newborns, from bathing to discharge. 2. Preparation and administration of medications and collection of laboratory specimens. 3. Monitoring of vital signs and participation in institutional training programs. \- Perform all activities aligned with health, safety, and environmental principles; \- Accompany patients from admission to discharge according to the care and therapeutic plan, assisting with bathing, intimate hygiene, ambulation, and care for critically ill patients; \- Monitor vital signs and perform peripheral venous puncture using aseptic technique; \- Prepare and administer medications; \- Collect specimens for laboratory tests; \- Prepare patients and newborns for diagnostic examinations and surgeries; \- Bathe newborns and instruct families on hygiene and care; \- Assess clinical deterioration and activate Rapid Response Team (RRT) when necessary; \- Participate in shift handovers, reporting and documenting complications; \- Document provided care and instructions in the medical record; \- Report complications to the nurse and maintain unit organization; \- Respond promptly to nursing calls; \- Ensure quality standards and a positive patient experience (Rede D’Or model); \- Ensure protocols for care transitions and device insertion into the system; \- Provide safe care to postpartum women and newborns; \- Perform technical procedures, such as medication administration, specimen collection, wound dressings, vital sign monitoring, and support during complications; \- Set up cardiotocography; \- Maintain sector materials and equipment; \- Instruct caregivers on newborn care; \- Maintain clear, chronologically ordered documentation; \- Participate in institutional training programs.
