Job Summary: The Eurofarma Institute seeks a Junior Educator to work with STEM (Science, Technology, and Maker) during after-school hours, promoting pedagogical practices and developing skills in children and adolescents. Creating an inclusive and innovative environment that values experimentation. **Junior Educator – STEM (Science, Technology, and Maker)** The Eurofarma Institute exists to transform lives. As a Junior Educator at the Eurofarma Institute, you will work during after-school hours with multi-grade classes organized by similar age groups (ages 6 to 14), promoting pedagogical practices appropriate to different developmental stages. The focus lies on teaching science, technology, engineering, and maker practices, fostering the development of computational thinking, digital literacy, creativity, and problem-solving abilities within an informal, collaborative learning environment. **Responsibilities and Duties** **Review the main daily activities for this position:** * Develop technology and maker culture activities for students aged 6 to 14 in multi-grade classes; * Promote experiences using digital media, block-based programming, educational robotics, and virtual learning environments; * Encourage scientific curiosity, experimentation, and the creation of innovative solutions to real-world problems; * Stimulate the ethical, critical, and responsible use of digital technologies; * Support learners in exploring media languages (text, image, sound, video, digital games) and sharing their creations; * Facilitate activities involving project design, group collaboration, investigation, and prototyping; * Monitor learning progress, encouraging autonomy, critical thinking, and active student participation; * Contribute to creating an inclusive and innovative environment that values experimentation and diversity of ideas; * Assist with other classroom routines and support a positive learning environment; * Contribute to developing students’ socioemotional skills, encouraging cooperation, empathy, and autonomy; * Support all project routines, including student arrival and departure, lunch supervision, participation in educational field trips, and other collective activities. **Requirements and Qualifications** **We seek professionals who meet the following requirements:** * Completed undergraduate degree in Pedagogy, Sciences, Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science, Design, or related fields; * Prior experience as an educator in social projects, schools, or *maker*/technology initiatives with children and adolescents; * Flexibility to work with multi-grade classes; * Basic knowledge of block-based programming and/or programming languages; * Ability to work with games, digital media, and technological tools; * Openness to collaborative and experimental practices; * Availability to work 40 hours per week. **Additional Information** **At Eurofarma, we value and support our people throughout their entire journey!
